Honour our Elders

I saw this elderly gentleman taking shots last Saturday and I just had to say hello.

He was friendly and gracious, we chated briefly about cameras and shooting.

This encounter got me thinking.

I just had this feeling in my heart - if I can be out shooting well into my 70s and 80s, I will be really happy. This to me means that even at that age, I can still get up, go out and celebrate life in all its glory.

I was grateful for this moment.

Just because we getting older, it doesn’t mean with have to have in our hearts.

You can’t help getting older, but you don’t have to get old.
