2020 Vision | Regeneration

This environmental study begins with the regeneration of my block.

For the last 18 month me and my neighbours have lived right on top of a construction site.

The gorgeous forecourt is all gone.

Ripped apart.

Beechcraft House was formerly a home for abandon children - all gone, demolished.

The only thing that still stands is my block.

The new block takes up the whole road.

It looks quite spectacular.

People are moving in now.

Brand new residents.

Out of the ashes, a new creation has risen.

As for us, the old tenants at the back, I gave a dreaded fear of my home being knocked down. Cleared away to enhance the elegance of the front block.

My instincts tell me this is the beginning of gentrification.
