One of my all time favourite Lens is theNikon 70-200mm F4.

I chose the F4 over the2.8 because of size and weight.

The F4 is fantastic on my D500 - I still have it.

I am not one to get bent out of shape over shallow depth of field. At F4 and 200mm the the depth of field and Bokeh is dam perfect.

Yes, I still shoot Nikon but I will not Travel with my Nikon gear because of weight.

Enter Fuji.

The XF 50-140mm F2.8 is the Fuji version for my favourite focal length - 70-200mm and it is 2.8 in my hands, it feels as light as my XF55-200mm.

I just don’t feel the weight.

This Len has a gorgeous rendering on faces.

It now completes my Professional Trinity:

10-24mm + XF14mm F 2.8

16-55mm and now The XF50-140mm F2.8

This set up is my Professional Kit for Event and Portraits.

I shoot with Off Camera Flash using The Pixapro Lighting Set-Up and it all works perfectly with my Fuji System.

The Portraits of my mother are perfect.

I am delighted…no, I am over the moon to own this Lens for my Fuji System.

It balances very well of my XT1.

The Grip is required for me because my hands are large and I need the grip for Balance and it works just fine.

I am taking this Lens out tomorrow for a spot of creative imagery just to test its optical power.

As a Portrait Lens it is perfect.
