Moments

Street Photography is all about being open, receptive and responsive to life.

It’s a good training in observation and sensitivity.

Some moments leave me conflicted; should I or not?

The human condition and expression of life is full of drama, conflict, paradox, juxtaposition, comedy and tragedy.

I am open to whatever life presents to me.

If I am alert and quick, the moment is mine.

Street Photography is all about People.

I like the term Humanism; within the context of Street Photography, Humanism presents me with a deep and rich potential for strong moments and narrative.

Some moments on the streets catch me by surprise.

When I engage with people on the streets, I always ask if I can create a Portrait. This is part of my technical and photojournalistic discipline.

Life is full of moments.

Armed with my Camera, I aim to document as much of it as possible. This gives my life some meaning and purpose. It is the recognition and acknowledgement of our shared humanity.

Thanks for reading.

“Each day holds a surprise. But only if we expect it can we see, hear, or feel it when it comes to us. Let's not be afraid to receive each day's surprise, whether it comes to us as sorrow or as joy It will open a new place in our hearts, a place where we can welcome new friends and celebrate more fully our shared humanity”.
