2020 Vision | Seeing The Light

Mr Eastman of Kodak once said, “light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography.
Since completing my Online Course with Joel Meyerowitz, the Light has become a major subject for me.
Just seeing it.
Feeling it.
Just celebrating the fact that I could just “see it”.
This may sound strange but I have seen the magic of Light.
What does this mean?
Light, can be seen?
Yes it is obvious because once the Sun has risen, darkness is no more…..for a few hours at least.
Light is everywhere.
For me, seeing the Light is also about being aware of shadows and the quality and direction of where the Light is coming from.
Don’t forget, the Earth is spinning so, the rays of Light will or may be blocked by clouds, trees, buildings. Time of day will have an impact on the quality of hardness or softness of shadows.
This is seeing our God given always on Light source.
The Sun 🌞
Our Clouds ⛅️ is nature’s soft box.
Light is now my major subject.
Colour, Shape and Form caught in the Light becomes magical.
