I really love the Wide Angle Lens.

The 28mm Field of view is my normal.

24mm is wonderful.

Things get really interesting at 21mm.

My Fuji 14mm equals 21mm in 35mm terminology. This doesn’t seem like much when compared to the stunning 16/24mm. Its only a 3mm difference in space and yet it produces wonderful images.

The secret when using any Wide Angle Optics is ensuring getting close to the foreground that compliments the scene.

In the images above you can see the Handle Bars of the Bicycles really close at the bottom edge of the Frame. All I had to do now was wait for a Cyclist to enter the frame.

My Aperture was F22

Shutter Speed 1/500 sec

ISO 3200

It was a cold and wet afternoon so the Light was flat and overcast. My ISO was high for this reason.

The Wide Angle is wonderful for this kind of image - deep depth of field with a story telling composition.

There is one extra bonus to using a Wide Angle Lens.

The Optical Design of such a Lens means it can focus really close to a subject. This means close-up photography can be quiet spectacular.

This makes for a stunning versatile Lens.

It handles Environmental Portraits with great ease.

I was thinking of selling this Lens.

I am keeping it.🤣
