The Neighbourhood I grew up in is changing for ever.
The tall block of flats in the image above looks ready to fall over.
This area was once the pride of West London - now, it’s derelict appearance serves as a great backdrop for this narrative.
This is my first exploration into Urban Image Creation. This subject tells a story like no other.
Cramped Conditions.
A location for low income people.
Urban Landscape that would become a ay ground for children, I only know this because this is where I played as a boy.
Across the road from the two Images above is the shape of thing happening in the area.
Modernisation.
Quite a contrast and yet these modern buildings are almost complete. The older buildings will be torn down and rebuilding begins. I am curious to know what they will do with all the people in that tower block.
This area is part of Kilburn.
In a few years, my memories of this place will be resigned to the deepest corners of my mind.
Gentrification has arrived.
