2020 Vision | Paddington - A Peaceful Reflection

On my way to Paddington.

A few days ago, the experience left me with a haunting sensation.

This time, I was looking forward to the experience of being at peace, simply because I knew there would be no people.

An empty carriage.

Filled with the energy of……nothing.

Arrival platform.

Normally crowded, now, an opportunity to feel and breath my own presence in this empty space.

I experienced these two moments strangely enough with no colour.

The Light just said “Black & White”.

Colour after all is the magic of Light Dancing a Tango.

Not a soul in sight and yet the dignity of the Station still has a powerful expression.

Waiting for Travelers.

The Platform still, serene and….waiting.

The presence of Life.

Journey home.

Creating these images with no people in the frame made up for all the times I wanted to create a People free image.

I got present to something during this walk.

Life was still present.

I was alive.

My images brought Paddington Station to Life.
