2020 Vision | Bond And Terry O’Niell

I was very sad when I heard Terry O’Neill had passed away.

He was a world class Celebrity Photographer.

His images covered the 1960s right up to his death a few months ago.

I was thrilled to discover he was chosen to cover one of my favourite subjects; Bond…Janes Bond.

Over a fifty year period starting with Sean Connery, Terry O’Neill documented the world of Bond and the great actors who brought Ian Flemming’s creation to life.

From Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, his collection of images have been preserved in this wonderful Book.

If I could be offered two jobs as a Photographer they would be:

Travel the world and document The Expression of Life & be principle Photographer on a blockbuster movie. If that movie is a Bond film even better.

Terry O’Neill’s body of work covers everybody in show business.

It’s an astonishing collection and body of work which has become the picture book of our lives.

I never met him, however, his life and legacy is an inspiring example of what can happen when Photography and Passion meet.

This is the path I walk with my Camera in one hand and my deck of cards in the other.

Find your passion.

Master your craft.

Honestly express yourself.

That’s all we need to do in this life.
