2020 Vision | Silence

Self Portrait Day 7-Silence:

It has been a quiet year.

This has gone beyond me being deaf.

I have noticed, I haven’t spoken much.

Very little conversations with others.

Finger typing is not the same.

To fill the atmosphere with the sound of my voice is an empty and meaningless pursuit unless what I have to say adds value, offers a creative point of view and makes a difference.

So silence for me has been about being comfortable with the conversation between my ears.

Attempting to be still, listening for the voice of my creator.

I am at peace in this space of nothingness.

The is the realm of spiritual rebirth.
