2020 Vision | The Flow Of Life

This place is my little piece of heaven.

Regents Park Waterfall.

It has been a few years since I was last here.

In fact, the last time I created an image of this Waterfall was at the exact moment Prince died.

Today I returned to create another expression.

All though it’s the same spot, it’s not the same image.

Today was different.

The Sun was high in the Sky.

Far too much light.

Shutter Speed 1/15th

Not slow enough for a creative exposure.

I attached my Neutral Density 10 Stop Filter which gave me a 60 second exposure. Which was more than I needed or what my XT1 could give. The XT1 can only give 30 seconds which was ok.

For an expression like this 4-8 seconds is more than enough.

This image was rather underexposed at 30 seconds. Fortunately the RAW file opened up all the lovely detail you see. Edited in Lightroom and fine tuned in Photoshop.

This expression of life reminds me that water flows and so must I.
