2020 Vision | The Fuji XF 10-24mm F4

Learning how my Lens sees has become a very important part of my photographic education.

I regularly change Lens; one day it’s 35mm and another day I may shoot using my 90mm.

I have read many comments about sticking with one Lens for a long period of time. This makes sense because of the obvious truth that you will become accustomed to seeing in this field of view and knowing where to stand and place yourself.

My discipline is slightly different; I am training my brain, subconscious to automatically switch to whatever Lens I may have on my Camera - it works.

I don’t have to think about where to stand or place myself. I understand the narrow field of view using a Telephoto.

If there is one Lens that has an automatic get close requirement, it’s the Wide Angle Lens.

This Lens and optics demand something in the immediate foreground.

That immediate Foreground interest sets the context for the visual conversation and pulls you right into the drama.

The Fuji XF 10-24 F4 is a stunning Lens.

I love it because I know when I use it, I will be creating dramatic conversations with an Aperture of F22 to give me sharpness throughout the Frame.

The paradox of seeing W-I-D-E-R is all about getting closer.
