2020 Vision | The Stillness of Life

I love Still Life imagery.

I don’t need people in my images to create an interesting moment.

One of my favourite things to photograph is my Deck of Cards.

I have been passionate about Playing Cards since I was 10 years old.

This simple object is a given for me in the creation of Still Life Images.

For me, my entire self expression is closely related to a Deck of Card, my performances and storytelling. It’s a perfect fit because each image carries the possibility of you, the viewer, bringing their own narrative to this.

This conversation has been given new life for me because of my online programme with Joel Meyerowitz. We are currently looking at Still Life images as a means and access to discovering our Photographic Identity.

I am creating images around my home of objects that gives our home life and meaning.

This will be an ongoing project.
