Happiness

Happiness is an elusive concept.

Elusive because we can spend our live looking in the wrong place for it. Happiness is not something bought for, bargained for, or traded for, no.

Happiness is a special place to come from.

A friend of mine once said, “we were born happy, our only job in life, is to simply remember”. Steinar Thelen

What does happiness mean to me?

Every image I create reminds me of my internal happiness. I love and enjoy the feeling in my body when I see beautiful light on a flower, a building or a person. This inspires me to create an image.

Happiness to me is creating images, reading, writing this blog, sharing my point of view, performing magic and entertaining an audience.

I also feel great joy creating images of my friends and seeing their joy of life.

So, in the final analysis, happiness, I believe, is an inside job. If we all take full responsibility for our own happiness and then share our happiness UNCONDITIONALLY with others, our world will look considerably different than it does right now.

My images are created from a place of happiness. This presupposes that my internal happiness comes first and everything from that place springs forth. I am working on this right now because I was once a person, looking and searching for happiness outside myself. I can tell you, I put a stop to that nonsense.

My happiness is my gift to the world.
