The Colour of Night

Creating images at night is a magical experience.

London becomes a colourful backdrop.

I was stuck in Blue Hour mindset and have recently learned to embrace the beautiful Black of night and allow the ambient light of the streets to create its own texture.

Black is the original Canvas Colour before the immortal words “Let there be Light”.

These images were created around the Liverpool Street area and the colour was glorious.

I have embraced shooting at High ISO values - my camera is set to Auto ISO 1600-2500

My film Simulation is set to Vivid and if the colour is too punchy then I will dial in -2 or -3

So my adventure continues.

The Colour of Night means I get another view point of how Light behaves.
