30 Day Challenge | Day 1

My 30 Day Challenge has begun.

I can say with hand on heart, I really love the XF18-55mm.

It has the quality of being Four Prime Lens in one. This means I can choose the right focal length for my subject.

The image above was shot at 18mm because I saw a story about Wheels. With an Aperture of F22 and my focus pre- set to 2 meters. This images has front to back sharpness.

This Garden was shot at 23mm and was perfect for documenting this arrangement of Flower Pots inside the Full Frame equivalent of 35mm.

My Lens has the option of 35mm which translates to 50mm on a Full Frame so these images rendered very nicely.

At 55mm we are in Portrait Mode.

With an F4 Aperture at 55mm, this gives decent depth of field with very nice separation from bust backgrounds.

So, this Lens is a keeper.

The only thing missing is super telephoto. This did not stop me from catching Birds 🦅 or Squirrels 🐿.

That completes Day 1.

With the days that follow, I will need to really push myself to create some exciting Images.
