35mm CF | Layers Part 3

The potential for a deeper narrative is always present.

It’s all about being open, receptive and responsive.

Seeing in Layers has now become a part of my visual tool box of skills.

This is a beautiful way to add visual interest.

I realised this storytelling technique is something I have used before.

My coach Bryan Peterson taught me the value of using a Wide Angle Lens at F22 with a pre-focus of 1 metre at 24mm.

This means my image will by sharp right through the Frame.

You can see the Layers at work with interest in the foreground which leads the eye deeper in to the Frame.

One thing I am pleased about is that I didn’t specialise in any one genre of Photography. I have photographed a Wedding, An Event, Portraits, Blue Hour, Low Light; this has taught me many different photographic techniques.

My chosen discipline is……..Travel Photography - People, Places & Culture.

This is where layered images really come alive, around the world.

This is what I intend to do for the rest of my life.

Thanks for reading.
