35mm | Within The Frame

The 35mm Canvass is no different that the Canvass used by Rembrandt or Picasso.

It requires real focus and discipline on my part to ensure clean Frame.

I noticed today this first two images were perfect because of the depth of field and the urban landscape of my road.

The edges were clean.

The 35mm Canvass and the Lens have a symbiotic connection. Just like a painter using the right brush and paint.

As a Wide Angle Lens it sees deep. Getting close to a specific subject means there will be more information in the Frame that communicates a deeper narrative.

What I like about the 35mm Canvass is its versatility for documenting multiple stories.

Key word : stories

This is a story telling / documentary Frame. Everything must fit.

Like every good story, there is a beginning, a middle and the final punctuation.

This Frame is worthy of compelling stories.

“The lens is the brush, the camera sensor is the canvas, the file is the sheet music, and the final image is the symphony”.

Vincent Versace
