BNI West One | Monthly Social Event-Part 2

Welcome to Part Two of The BNI West One Monthly Social Event.

The first half of our day was spent going back in time on board the Trans-Atlantic Steam Ship The SS Great Britain.

We worked up an appetite.

As we walked to the Restaurant, it started raining.

Yuk.

It was cold and now wet, I couldn’t wait to get out of the rain. The walk was a good twenty minutes. It seemed longer due to the climate - we made it.

The Venue was called The River Station; it was very nice and welcoming.

Prior to the trip to Bristol we were given a menu to select our Starter, Main Course and Desert.

Reading this menu did not give me any visuals in my mind. This is why I am passionate about creating images. A Photographic Essay was really consolidated by the Grand Master Henri Cartier Bresson. His work for Life Magazine really showed how words and images both create a narrative that support each other.

The Lunch was excellent.

I was very impressed with the Waitress; she got all our names right and what we ordered.

The ambience was perfect; relaxing. I get really miserable after coming in after the rain. I got over it quickly once I settled and started enjoying my lunch.

Our Train back to London was scheduled to leave by 17:30pm. I left a bit early after lunch to create a few more images of Bristol.

Bristol is very photogenic; I need a long weekend walking and exploring with my Camera.

I will be back.

This day trip was a great success.

Patrick and Andrew did a great job in coordinating all of the logistics to make this happen.

The BNI West One Monthly Social Events successes is down to all of our members joining in and contributing in some fashion.

This concludes my Photo Essay.

Stay tuned for the next BNI West One Social Event.

Thanks for reading.
