Broader Frame

I don’t consider myself a Landscape Photographer.

I do think like one even though I live in the suburbs of London.

Maida Vale is my Photogenic playground.

My Landscape Skills have been developed from seeing my Neighbourhood and Park as a broad Contex / Frame to tell a story.

My favourite Lens is theXF 18mm on my Fuji.

When using my Nikon its the 28mm.

This Lens is my natural field of view; its how I see the world.

When People enter my Frame, they are now part of my visual narrative.

I would happily Travel the world on Assignment with two bodies and three Lens: XF18mm, XF35mm & 56mm. In Full Frame terms, thats 28mm - 50mm & 85mm

That covers my all my subjects covered: People, The Place and The Culture.

Over the last five years, I have really explored my vision. This means understanding how my Lens see and what Lens matches my normal eye sight.

I feel very happy and secure now with my choice of tools.

My two favourite Brands are Nikon & Fuji.

The optics for my natural vision are now set and they balance perfectly for how I see the subjects that interest me and how I need to interact with life to create my images.

Thanks for reading.
