Documenting The Notting Hill Carnival is all about the people.
My day began with this quick portrait of Alex and is friend the lovely Marcela.
She has such a lovely smile and vivacious energy. I had to create her portrait.
This is one time in our calender year when the hand break comes of and the celebration of life becomes an unbridled full blown expression of the human spirit.
This makes Carnival weekend such an important part of Black Culture.
The beautiful thing about our culture is everyone is a part of it. This weekend is a colourful weekend where every demographic is represented.
The Black Community welcomes everyone.
