Change of Pace

As much as I love my Fuji Cameras , I felt the need to re connect with my past.

I once created images on 35mm Film.

I LOVED IT.

I still love it and felt the strong pull to shoot film.

I am using The Canon A1, a Retro Classic.

It does the job beautifully.

In keeping with all things Fuji, I shot a roll of Fujifilm and when that was done, I tried Kodax Portra and Ultramax 400.

I felt something return to me, something I had long forgotten - the joy of holding a photograph in my hand…again.

This collection of image are scanned from the raw negative.

The prints are beautiful.

Printing my images is a very important part of my photographic process, journey and satisfaction.

This is a truly creative act and one that brings a lot of joy to my life.

I love digital and it’s important to close the loop by printing my images.

It’s as simple as that.
