Contemplation: The Classic Frame

This new study in Contemplative Photography Focuses on The Classic Frame 35mm.

My Fuji journey began with The X100T.

This Camera was fitted with a 23mm F2 Lens. In Full Frame terms, this equalled 35mm.

I am returning to my roots and shooting with this Focal Length again - I am really enjoying this.

The emphasis is on the 35mm Frame.

This Frame is everything.

It’s the Context which must be filled with moments that does justice to this classic Frame.

I really appreciate this Frame because having shot film when I was younger, I fully appreciate the implications of what to include and leave out in my Frame.

The Classic Frame and The 35mm Field of view is legendary in Photography.

Many say the 50mm is legendary - who am I to argue.

I am inspired by how Henri Cartier Bresson used his 50mm like it was a 35mm.

He got close and yet, his images did not feel to intrude on the moment.

I like this.

When it comes to Portraits, I will factor the environment into this new field of study.

For now, I am enjoying seeing layers and stories.
