Croatia Through the Eyes of The XPro2

I love Croatia, I have been here a few times in the last five years. Each time, I discover more of this enchanting country.

I am here presenting my show and master class for the magicians and as you can imagine, my Fuji X-Pro  2 was packed with the 23mm 1.4 and the 55-200mm.

The City of Zagreb is a Street Photographers paradise and yet it is vast enough to appeal to capturing a sense of the place, the 23mm was Wide Angle enough for me.

The essence of street photography is people and I made a point of capturing the locals just going about their business today. This is a fascinating element to my photography because the human element communicates humanity to me.

What are people thinking, feeling, what are they dealing with?

Through my camera, I attempt to capture questions for you, my viewer.

What do you see in these moments of human expression?

My photography has brought me to a point of just appreciating life and everyone I encounter on my travels. It is a glorious privelidge to be a Magician and Photographer. In both cases, I am a storyteller, I use deck of cards and my camera to ask questions, to provoke our consciousness to a point of true understanding, that we are one human family, it just so happens, we are all different. The joy of life is really celebrating the rich diversity of the human family and sharing our humanity with each other.

Being here in Zagreb has brought me to this point of understanding and appreciation.

Finally, my favourite part of today was spent being still and peaceful. In the magnificent Cathdrall.

This was the best part of my day.
