Exploring Beauty

My journey over the last seven years has brought me in direct conversation with this paradox of Beauty.

As Lao Tzu writes in his 2nd Verse of The Tao Te Ching; “When everyone in the world sees beauty, then ugly exists.

This Paradox and duality lives right at the core of my life. This expression informs all of my choices and behaviour.

It is simply to live in a space of non judgement.

To simply allow life and its expression to be, without adding or taking anything away.

Armed with my Camera, I can capture the authentic expression in any given moment.

The beauty in any given moment needs no label.

The expression can simply just be.

Lao Tzu teaches;

“What is and what is not create each other.
Difficult and easy complement each other.
Tall and short shape each other.
High and low rest on each other.
Voice and tone blend with each other.
First and last follow each other.

Chaos and Order live together; a relationship that defines itself by this topsy turvy shuffle of the deck. The effect is miraculous because of this conflict.

How wonderful would it be if we could live with Chaos & Perfect Order and feel totally comfortable with both without adding any meaning.

Life simply is…

Nothing more - its all empty & meaningless, and yet that doesn’t mean anything.

Life.

Death.

Circle of life.

Exploring Beauty is an acknowledgement of life and all that there is.
