Finishing a Roll of Ilford HP5 400

This Camera is over 25 years old.

It had a roll of Ilford HP5 400 still inside.

11 Exposures left.

I thought why not.

The thing that surprised me is how well it still works.🤣

This Canon EOS 500n was purchased around 1995.

I never thought for one minute Photography would become such an important part of my identity.

Shooting a roll of film means every Frame must count.

This mind set I carry over into my digital shooting.

I don’t create an image unless there is a story to be told.

I must feel something, otherwise, what is the point?

EVERY FRAME DESERVES RESPECT.

Every Frame is my Canvas.

My Canvas is my foundation for photographic expression.

Michelangelo saw The David in his mind before he saw it within the block of Marble.

I see and feel the moment long before I create the image.

Photography allows me to interact with life in a way that is far deeper than anything else in my life.

There is more to life than this surface level nonsense.

My images reveal to me the deeper mystery that connects and binds all of us together.

Thanks for reading.
