FV | Keeping My Distance

This week, I am keeping my distance.

For a change of pace, I am switching to using my XF90mm.

This Lens is fantastic.

It’s field of view is narrow and equal to 135mm on a Full Frame Camera. This makes it perfect for Portraits.

As an optics for documenting life, it is sheer perfection. Saul Leiter was known for using a long Lens in his Street Photography so I thought it would be an interesting visual exercise to give this a try.

Candid moments are a legitimate expression of life on the streets. I think they are worthy pf documenting. A long Lens I consider my observation Lens.

Saul Leiter inspires me; he is one who enjoyed creating images for the joy of it. His approach was to find beauty in a rain drop on glass. This I find very appealing.

To be continued.

“A window covered with raindrops interests me more than a photograph of a famous person”.
