In my mind, the 35mm Frame and The 35mm Lens is a perfect partnership for creating images. This combination cannot be beaten simply because they have been designed to work together in symbiotic harmony.
Yes, it is a Wide Frame and the Lens compliments this Canvass. It makes perfect sense to create images that work well within this visual context.
My fresh vision for 2023 is about seeing differently. The 35mm Lens is a perfect tool for expanding my visual repertoire.
Today on my walk to Paddington, I decided to work this classic combination again like I did during the summer of 2022 - it felt perfectly natural.
The Fuji XF 23mm 1.4 translates to 35mm on my X-T1; it’s a perfect partnership.
I did not once feel uncomfortable working it.
In fact, I completely forgot about the gear in my hands.
This combination is perfect for almost every subject. The odd exception may require a Wider or Longer Lens.
As a Portrait Lens, it is perfect.
I am very excited about this refreshing perspective and discipline for my Photography.
My goal for 2023 is to expand myself, my vision and my relationship to life all around me, in 35mm.
