It’s Carnival Weekend

It’s Bank Holiday Weekend and that means only one thing.

It’s Carnival weekend.

I went to Ladbroke Grove this afternoon to take a walk with my friend Richard. We went to see the the local Community Centre preparing for the big showcase this weekend.

I caught sight of this lovely lady preparing herself with her dress. She reminded me of The Venice Carnival; this is one Carnival Event on my Bucket List.

I love Ladbroke Grove - it is a vibrant community. Carnival Weekend is a massive showcase, full of characters, energy, expression.

This weekend should be a great celebration.
