Letting Go

Life and Death represent the paradox Lao Tzu speaks of in his2nd Verse of The Tao Te Ching.

Each create the other.

Living this great paradox is part of the great way for all of us.

Acceptance.

Peace.

Serenity.

Equanimity.

To be committed without attachment provides an access to letting go with love and grace.

Far from easy because the dark night of the soul is a tough road to walk alone.

This time with my Mother is preparation for letting go and walking this straight and narrow gate.

I feel it.

What is there for her after this?

The Doctors told me if for any reason my mother’s heart stops beating, they would make every effort to restart it.

I said why?

“If her ♥️ stops, then that means its finished”.

No need to restart it.

What is she coming back too?

“This is no life…”

The Doctors were speechless by my no nonsense straight talk. They could see and feel my conviction to preserving my mother’s dignity.

I made it clear; “my number one goal has always been to preserve her dignity right to the very end”.

The Doctors needed my permission to not restart mum’s heart - I gave it with love and compassion.

She was sleepy today.

I just left her after 7pm.

Home now.
