Life on The Canal

How we choose to lives and express ourselves is a creative process, None more so than choosing to live on a Canal Boat or Barge.

The Grand Union Canal is the backdrop to an extraordinary vision of creative expression.

This part of London, Little Venice is a beautiful location and with the many boats mored really adds to the ambience of life.

As I walk this route to the hospital to visit mum, I am reminded to keep my life simple. Live with gratitude and seek peace in this turbulent and noisy world.

This environment is full of peace.

I walk slowly and measured to feel the whole vibe and still energy. The people who live here all possess this stillness - they don’t bother any one.

I think to live with stillness and peace of mind is worthy goal.

Living close to and on water is a perfect way to foster this ideal.
