Light of the World

I have moments in my Photography when I come across as a scene and I hear myself say “Thank you God”.

In these moments, my spirit connects to something very special which cannot be expressed in words.

This is what I felt when I saw this scene today.

It was a very sunny day and the light was brutal.

However, this scene was bathing in the glow of the sun. The sunlight was breaking through the trees.

The clouds diffused some of the light coming from the Sun and created this lovely golden expression.

I knew how I would capture this:  low vantage point to take advantage of the purple flowers as my strong foreground interest. I walk past this scene on most days when going to Kilburn, today was the day when I felt the need to create this particular shot.

The light and quality of light makes all the difference in the world.

“God seeks to influence humanity. This is at the heart of the Christmas story. It is the story of light coming into the darkness, of a Saviour to show us the way, of light overcoming the darkness, of God’s work to save the world”.
