Poland | A Love Affair

I have been travelling to Poland for seven years.

My first trip was to Warsaw to present my Magic Show.

For the last six years, it has been regular visits to Krakow, Nowy Sącz and short business trip to Poznań.

I have just return from a lovely five days in Krakow, it was utterly charming.

This trip represented a breakthrough for me because I successfully navigated my way to Krakow Glowny City Centre by train. It took about twenty minutes. From the main station I walked to my hotel which was the very nice Hotel Apollonia.

The walk from the station only took me fifteen minutes because I was following the dots on Google maps. I now know a quicker route through the open square.

This was a good start.

Once I settled into my hotel I rested and got ready to meet my friend Barbara.

I have known Barbara for six years.

I took this opportunity to create some photos of her, she looks amazing.

Later that evening I had dinner with my friend and fellow magician Michal.

He is a Graphic Designer by trade and crazy about magic - very talented too.

The following day, I was up early for the long drive to Nowy Sącz to attend a wedding. I spent several days there and just enjoyed the whole experience of the country side, BBQ, a First Communion and friendship.

Poland has won my heart.

This is a place I could spend the rest of my life and I am considering it deeply.

I feel my spirit at peace here, this is important to me. To feel at peace, calm and centered with the spirit of life.

Being a performing artist has been such a great privilege in my life. I have visited places around the world. Experienced different cultures, more than my own Caribbean Culture.

This has enriched the quality of my life and my appreciation of all nationalities on this ball of rock called Earth.

We are all part of the human family.

The people of Poland have embraced me.
