Project 23mm | From The Roof Tops - Day 5

Point of view is everything in image creation.

Here in Jounieh, my opportunities are fruitful for mixing things up in terms of how to see things.

Today was very hot.

Pascal and I stayed in most of the day.

Late afternoon was perfect time to create a few images.

I started with shooting out through the windows. Our apartment is on the second floor, so high up enough for an interesting look at life.

I decided to head out side up to the third floor where I discovered the roof of the building and Patio.

It was perfect.

I could see the whole of Jounieh 360 degrees and the light was excellent.

I created a few Panoramas which I will share later. By this time, the Sun began its decent and the blue light made its presence felt.

It was time for dinner so we headed out to Zaitunay Bay.

I created a few interesting shots which complimented my day of late afternoon images.

Today was chilled after lecturing and filming. So it was fine to do nothing, relax and mentally prepare for my journey home. I still one day left to enjoy my time hereabouts create.

I feel very grateful to have had this experience. Growing up, this part of the world was in the grip of a terrible conflict and my time here has revealed to me people who celebrate life and each other through their customs. Love, sharing, good food, brotherhood and a reverence for life. 🙏🏾
