Project 23mm | People - The Face of Lebanon

This final post is a tribute to all of the people I encountered during my week long stay in Lebanon.

This lovely couple were celebrating their engagement right outside my apartment.

You may have seen this image of Judy from a previous post. We chatted about Photography and ended up taking photographs of each other.😄

Pascal and Roderick,  became my constant companions. Warm friendships, full of love and humanity. I feel very happy having created these images of them.

The texture of a country will be found in its people.

The people are the country, I experienced joy and humanity from the Lebanese people.

My heart has experienced love from the Middle East.

The XPro 2 and the 23mm is not considered a Portrait Lens Kit. That doesn’t mean it cannot create beautiful images of people.

This distinction was important to me because the 23mm is about the something more.

The extra space available must be accounted for, so using the 23mm to create compelling images of people needs careful consideration.

I am delighted with the outcome, it has taught me a lot about my current level of image creation and I what can focus on to improve things further.

This has been a beautiful adventure, something my spirit truly needed.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
