Quantum of Solace

A measure of comfort, a respite from the cruelty of evil people.

Stress, violation, theft of my camera, a respite from the worst of human nature.

The paradox is that makes life an extra ordinary process to be lived.

The contrast of evil replaced by profound generosity of spirit.

Lao Tzu was right, "the Tao or great way is to be lived with this conflicting duality in a state of phlegmatic equanimity".

To live this great way without judgement, attachment and finger pointing blame.

My studies in philosophy have really anchored me into this way of being. Fully alert and accepting of this great paradox of life.

When I die, it will all be left behind.

I will cease to be nothing exactly as I was born.

All that matters is that my life was lived in the spirit of the Tao in the world of 10,000 things.
