Rutland Waters

I was happy to see my dear friend Heather again and she kindly took me for a drive in her neck of the woods.

My train stopped off at Grantham and I came to appreciate I was in the birth town of Baroness Margaret Thatcher and Sir Iaasac Newton.

This was quite something to see and experience. The town centre had a monument - a big wooden hand, craved holding an apple as a tribute to the famous scientist. I even saw his birth place and old school, really fantastic.

I don’t consider myself to be a bird watcher, however, I took this opportunity to create a few images. This is a whole new genre of patience and speed. Birds don’t wait for a portrait.

A fantastic weekend and greatly enjoyed the picturesque Rutland Waters.
