SFS: Solitude

A story in a single frame communicates a specific mood, the narrative is spot on.

I created this image during a workshop a few years ago. This was in Olympic National Park in Seattle. I felt it is a perfect example of what this new project is about.

I am training myself to see deeper.

In this moment I feel the power of solitude.

The ability to spend time alone.

No talking.

Stillness, breathing.

Relaxing is a rich blessing in this noisy world.

I am deaf.

The little hearing I have is amplified with hearing aids.

Guess what?

I turn off my aids.

I am in perpetual silence.

I only turn them on when I am in company. I appreciate the additional support during conversation.

So, this story, in a single frame carries a deep message.

Be still.

Breath.

Relax…

And just BE…..

Thanks for reading.
