Tamworth

Over the last weekend, I attended the Wedding of my friend Simon Lee. He invited me as a guest and entertainer. I presented my show for everyone and created images as I went along.

It was a wonderful wedding.

As is my normal habit, when I visit a new place, I am open to being surprised by new visuals and happenings.

The image above is a two image composite created with my old 35mm FD Lens. Most panoramas are quite complex featuring up to nine images. I created this horizontal to retain my 35mm frame. Where I was standing didn’t allow much room to create my Frame so I created two Frames and stitched them in Lightroom. It looks perfect, exactly how I saw it.

The Train station offers up some very interesting visuals to Frame. This is Tamworth Station which was my destination. I caught a connection from Birmingham New Street via London Euston.

It was a short journey less than 90 minutes.

This image was created outside Tamworth Station. It caught my attention and I framed it, that’s my process; I see, I feel & I create.

The journey by can to Moxhull Hall was about 20 minutes. The environment was very photogenic and charming.

The interior venue was perfect; very elegant, classy and yet understated.

Once the venue filled with Geist of the bride and groom it became full of energy.

I presented my show right at the spot where I created the above image. There was very little room to move. I managed fine but I did feel cramped.

The Wedding Banquet went perfectly. My show was well received.

It was a long day by the time I retired to my room.

This image above is the location of my sleeping quarters. I was really taken by the light.

My Bedroom was Frame worthy. Small room and the image was created using my 28mm Nikkor.

I slept well, the bed was perfect for a good nights sleep.

My journey home was direct.

I was satisfied and great-full.

Having my camera with me is very important to my mental health now. I am documenting my experience of life now. Since my mother died, I feel differently about life. My reverence for life and gratitude for every day is revealed in every worthy moment I frame in 35mm.

I feel the energy and presence of life in every moment.

Thanks for reading.
