The Deeper Narrative

This may be the most important journal entry I will write. I say this now because I am really feeling the spirit of Photojournalism.

I had it in mind to study Journalism at school, writing appealed to me.

What am I doing right now?

WRITING.

Sharing my deeper thoughts.

Why?

It supports me in understanding myself, my life, my relationship to life & others.

I have been seeking and pondering the deeper subtext of my photography; I found a strong story in people. Humanity has been my strong calling, mine and others.

The Who, What, Where, When & Why makes up the complete visual narrative for me.

Photojournalism is The Deeper Narrative for me - a story in a single frame.

This is really beautiful because one Frame can capture a perfect moment in time that invites you, the viewer to bring everything you have to interpret the story.
