The Fujinon 50mm F2

Took me a while to get into this Lens.

It is a little beauty.

On my XPro2 it is fine partnership.

Caught a few moments of my new coffee shop outside my home.

As a portrait lens it’s a little shy of the stunning 56mm f1.2 and yet, it functions just fine.

This head shot is of Manuel, the owner of Waza, my new Coffee Shop.

It’s a very nicely presented environment.

I feel very comfortable with this focal length.

I know where I stand to frame my shots.

The 1.5 Crop Factor has to be taken into account. So this lens behaves like a 75mm on a full frame.

It’s a short Telephoto and works perfectly at F2 for shallow depth of field. I love the sharpness and edgy contrast straight out of camera.

I enjoy these weekly challenges of learning how my lens sees. Next week, I will be on the 14mm

For now, life at 50 is a beautiful expression.
