Unexpected Surprises

I met these lovely ladies today.

They were part of the Caribbean Culture Market today.

They were promoting the idea that “EVERYONE HAD TALENT”.

This caught my attention and I initiated a conversation with Gorsharon on the left. She was lovely, engaging and friendly.

They all accepted my invitation for a quick group shot.

I learnt something; I had the stunning XF60mm on my Camera.

This Lens is great for individual headshots and full length…..it’s challenging for groups if I don’t have room. Too much room means I lose my intimacy and rapport.

This image was framed as well as I could make it, I was standing just under 10 metres away just to frame this without losing my edges.

It’s still a bit tight.

The XF23mm would have been a better choice - I love the 35mm field of view.

There is a lot to be said for having two bodies on me. One with an 18mm or 23mm and the other body with a XF50 or 60mm because I love random moments like this.

Good to be prepared.

Thanks for reading x
