Weekly Project | Life At 50

The title is a little misleading.

Life at 50 is a continuation of my project An Expression of Life. The difference here is all images will be created with the 50mm f2.

This Lens will get a comprehensive work out this week.

This Lens on The Xpro2 functions as a short Telephoto. This will be around 75mm making it perfect for Tight Head Shots. These images are of my friend Bill.

My camera was set to high Shadow +4 and plus 2 Highlights with the Acros Film Simulation.

I love the high contrasty mood.

I already feel at home using this Lens. My eye was trained using my Nikon D90 and the 50mm 1.8 so the field of view is locked into my “vision vocabulary”.

My Friendly neighbourhood dog was out today for quick portrait and she held up very well.

So this new project has started very well.
