X-Pro 1 | My Contemplative Camera

Contemplation is a wonderful activity to engage in. With my Camera in hand, it becomes a zen like meditation.
The Fuji X-Pro 1 is my Camera of choice for the much slower paced form of creating images.
The X-Pro 1 is slow.
Very slow.
Guess what?
It is perfect because it slows me down and this has a positive impact on how I engage with life happening all around me. This is what meditation does, it slows us down.
This Camera pairs very well with the XF35mm F2 - the auto focus is quick enough for my response time to a potential frame worthy moment. If I miss the moment, it's no big deal because my goal is to be still and present with life as it happens.
People in the frame are not my primary subject, if they enter my frame so be it. The scene and environment is where my attention is.
The human element becomes secondary
Nature is a perfect subject for contemplation.
Even garbage can take on a contemplative feel.
Nothing wrong in slowing down; it focuses my attention and ability to see the beauty in the mundane.
Slow down.
Life is much more beautiful this way.
