XF 10-24 | Urban Landscape

The XF 10-24 is equal to a Full Frame 15-36mm F4.

This is an epic field of view for Landscape Images.

I live in a suburb so Landscape Photography is out.

Or is it.

How about seeing my Neighbourhood as a massive canvass ready to be captured with this epic field of view.

The Optics are stunning.

At 10/15mm I must move in close to a foreground element consistent with the scene in front of me. The image above is a good example; the court yard to my Apartment is introduced by the red flowers.

The Bicycles sets the stage for an on coming Bicyclist.

Foreground interest is critical to a successful narrative with this Lens.

I love this challenge because it means looking and seeing potential moments worthy of this Lens.

This week, I am creating images exclusively with this vision in mind.

Stand by.

Even garbage becomes an artistic expression.
