XF 10-24mm | 10mm Vision

I set my focal length to 10mm.

My Goodness - the canvass becomes wider & deeper.

This means getting closer and keeping my Camera straight to ensure straight lines.

It is a beautiful extension on the classic frame of 35mm. It just means paying close attention too my lines and foreground.

This is all good practice should I ever find myself doing Landscape images - which I hope too soon.

I have come to really appreciate this Lens. I am seriously looking at it as a tool for my Travel Kit.

The Lens along with my 16-55mm and 50-140mm would cover all bases.

When Traveling, the last thing I will be doing is changing Lens. So this is a strong viable option for all of my scenic visions.

While typing this, it occurs to me this Lens covers three very important subjects.

Scenic Views: Environment, Landscape & Cityscape plus Street Photography. All of these Subjects covered by using this Lens.

This is a very exciting possibility for my Travel Imagery. That means one more Lens for Portraits and one more for Detail: That’s the 56mm and the 55-200mm because they are light to Travel with.

Shooting at 10mm today has been a revelation. The images make me feel like I can step right into the scene.

To be continued.

Thanks for reading.
