2020 Vision | Inner Vision

This image was created a few years ago in Lebanon.

It’s one of my favourites.

When I saw this moment, it reminded me of an image I saw in a book about Henri Cartier Bresson. The image was of three black boys running into the ocean.

This image above of three men returning from a session of Fishing was quite interesting to me.

I saw many things in this moment.

The space between each man.

Fishing Rods communicated Fishing on the Rocks.

I could not see if they caught anything.

I saw survival and independence.

Inner Vision is seeing more than the immediate.

The potential for a deeper story in the moment the image is created.

I have mentioned before:

I See

I Feel

I Create.

Seeing because of the gift of sight.

Feeling because of my beating heart, sensitive, open, alert and responsive to life and the moment of expression.

The creation of the image is that moment when I am looking through the view finder, framing the expression, composing the moment into a potential visual and literary narrative.

Split second creation because life comes…

And goes..

Never seen again.

I love this image; it reminds me of a happy, free and laid back time with Pascal, Boudelair and Roddy.

Memories, created in the moment.

Each moment, an expression of life that reminds us all to live.
