2020 Vision | Looking, Seeing & Vision

They sound the same don’t they?

Looking.

Seeing.

Vision.

Just because you are looking at something, have you seen it?

Close your eyes?

What colour do you see?

With your eyes closed, what’s your vision of a better future?

We are all trapped inside The Matrix - what’s your vision now.

When I lost my hearing, I knew my ears would no longer work.

I also knew my hearing was fine.

It’s a subtle distinction about sound and listening.

I listen better now than when I had good strong hearing.

Same for Photography.

I look at a moment.

I may see it with my mind and feel inspired to create an image.

The Light, Colour, The Gesture in the moment all communicate to me.

That’s when it clicks.

The Lens I use is just an extension of my vision.

I have been enjoying my 50mm on my D750 lately. I really wanted to understand why it has gained its popularity.

I can understand now because, I experienced the magic of The 50mm.

No matter where I stand, when the camera comes to my eye, the image I see in the frame is exact, no additional movement on my part if any.

The images in this post were created using the moment stealer XF90mm F2.

This Lens for my eyes is the Telephoto equivalent of the 50mm. It matches how my eyes see at long distance and it is perfect.
