Into The Light.
This is the path all Photographers walk.
Learning see in the dark, hoping for that ray of Light to illuminate the way.
Once I started making Light my subject, the whole game transformed.
A brand new relationship between myself, The Light and how my Camera “sees” The Light.
It’s amazing to think that this little box of magic can contain a sun beam or a ray of light for fractions of a second and transform it into a tangible image.
This appeals to my sensitivities as a Magician.
This is real magic.
It hold the source of all creation in my hand.
Dam….
Once I saw it, everything changed.
It’s quality and direction.
It’s texture
The magical gesture of Light transforms the mundane into miraculous.
There is no such thing as good or bad light.
All there is is LIGHT.
My job is to understand her mood and temperament.
To work in harmony with her expression.
Our collaborative effect brings glory to her name.
