A Fresh Vision of Light

Light is the source of everything.
Without it, where would we be?
How would we function?
This month, January, the Light is flat, boring, dull and a cold expression of Life. It is still Light; I personally don’t like it, nevertheless, images can still be created and strong images too.
No matter what, the Light speaks to me, especially at night.
The Light at night is the artificial man made expression, it offers up some intriguing possibilities.
I will be doing more creative shooting at night over the next weeks.
A fresh view of Light follows in the foot steps of great artist like Saul Leiter who specialised in the interesting interplay of Colour, Light, Shadow, and Graphical Elements within the Classic Frame.
I will be focusing my attention on how the Light impacts the environment and how colour takes on its expression at night.
For this new project, I will be using The XF90mm F2.
